About Alessandro

Hey, I’m Alessandro Bennedetti and I love sports. Most of my early memories revolve around my family and I huddled around a TV watching our beloved AC Milan, as I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to broaden my horizons and now follow a variety of sports. After several friends told me they enjoyed my often long-winded rants on the sporting world I decided to start my own website.

Alessandro Benedetti Offside is the title I’ve decided to place my thoughts under. I’m hoping to write about many sports, and try to not just focus on AC Milan. However, I am a huge Milan fan so expect there to be multiple posts about Milan and their exploits over the years. I’m based in London, having moved here 5 years ago, I’m doing a journalism course and hope to write in a national newspaper one day. Being in London has been great and has allowed me to slowly but surely understand cricket, and watch a lot more rugby.

These are two sports I’ll write about too, as well as anything else I happen to come across while channel surfing. I’m a friendly guy always willing to chat about sports, so feel free to comment and give me your opinions. Hope you enjoy!
